The Santa Barbara African Heritage Film Series screening of the The 23rd Psalm will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Metropolitan Metro 4 Theatre located at 618 State ST, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
The 23rd Psalm will screen in Israel during the Tel Aviv SPIRIT Film Festival May 14 – 17, 2008.
Since The 23rd Psalm’s festival debut, where it swept the San Diego Black Film Festival, the film’s worldwide wins have included Best Film by a Black Filmmaker in Berlin and Best Film, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor in San Diego, California, USA.
Tel Aviv and San Diego marks The 23rd Psalm’s 10th and 11th festival screening worldwide. Other screenings have included Cannes, Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Philadelphia, Memphis and Washington D.C.
